This position serves as the commercial conductor for a portfolio of strategic European accounts, translating high-level outcomes into tangible retention and expansion strategies. You will own the end-to-end commercial relationship, steering key negotiations while safeguarding long-term partnerships across the region. Success in this role requires hands-on leadership to drive accountability and execution within a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment. The hire will act as a senior escalation point, ensuring complex commercial matters are navigated with precision and strategic foresight. You will coach and elevate the performance of account teams through direct involvement in critical conversations. This role demands a focus on operational discipline to convert insights into timely commercial actions that protect and grow revenue. The position is integral to removing uncertainty from prospecting and engagement for Cognism's European customer base. Daily work involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to align product usage with measurable client ROI and retention triggers.

What you'll do
- Drive intake workflows to capture account signals and prioritize high-value opportunities based on strategic impact.
- Design and execute build plans that synchronize product usage with client ROI objectives and retention risk indicators.
- Conduct in-depth review sessions to surface portfolio risk, forecast accuracy, and cross-sell potential across key European accounts.
- Ship renewal and expansion playbooks that convert analytical insights into timely commercial actions and contractual outcomes.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and RevOps teams to align customer journeys, data flows, and operational workflows.
- Champion CRM hygiene, forecasting rigor, and account planning standards to maintain operational excellence.
- Elevate C-level conversations during complex negotiations to protect relationships and secure favorable commercial terms.
- Cultivate a team culture rooted in coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement in performance metrics.
- Orchestrate portfolio oversight using advanced SaaS tools to monitor health scores and identify at-risk accounts.
- Translate customer outcomes into actionable plans that align with Cognism's data quality and compliance standards.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for strategic commercial matters impacting key European enterprise deals.
- Leverage subscription metrics and retention drivers to forecast revenue stability and identify expansion triggers.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements within the European B2B data environment during all client engagements.
- Drive the adoption of training tools and playbooks to standardize account management best practices.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of three years of experience leading Account Managers in a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrate deep familiarity with subscription metrics, retention drivers, and B2B scaling patterns.
- Show advanced proficiency in Salesforce and related SaaS tools for comprehensive portfolio oversight.
- Communicate confidently with directors and vice presidents on strategic commercial matters.
- Exhibit a strong sense of accountability for commercial outcomes and team performance.
- Operate effectively in a highly regulated European B2B data environment with attention to compliance.
- Maintain a proven track record of owning complex negotiations and high-value stakeholder conversations.
- Display meticulous attention to detail in CRM hygiene, forecasting, and account planning activities.

Practical notes
This role operates under a hybrid work model, requiring three days in the London office with remote flexibility for other days. The position is based in the London office and reports directly to the local leadership team. Annual compensation is set within the range of 75,000 GBP to 90,000 GBP. The role does not involve international travel or visa sponsorship considerations. Candidates must align with Cognism's focus on data quality, compliance, and customer-centric growth.
