What you'll do

• Design and implement system architectures that are scalable, reliable, and secure, ensuring optimal performance for all users.
• Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate systems and applications effectively.
• Conduct thorough system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and enhancing system reliability.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering or a related role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture design, including cloud-based solutions and on-premises infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system management tasks.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines and configuration management systems.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks, enhancing your ability to align IT services with business needs.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role, demonstrating your ability to guide and develop team members.
