What you'll do

• Lead the design and development of GNC algorithms and systems for spacecraft, ensuring they meet mission requirements and performance standards.
• Conduct thorough analysis and simulation of GNC systems to validate their performance in various operational scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, to integrate GNC solutions into spacecraft systems.

Requirements

• A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on GNC systems.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in GNC engineering, preferably in the aerospace or space industry.
• Proficiency in GNC algorithm development, including Kalman filtering, guidance laws, and control strategies.
• Strong experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar software for modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with spacecraft dynamics and kinematics, as well as orbital mechanics principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Experience with software development processes and coding in languages such as C/C++ or Python is a plus.

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience with space mission design and execution, particularly in debris removal or satellite servicing.
