About the role
You will act as a trusted advisor to Clay's largest and most complex enterprise customers, guiding them to achieve ambitious business objectives using the Clay platform as a strategic asset. You will own the strategy and execution for revenue growth, retention, and executive relationships within a defined portfolio of high-value accounts. This role requires a rare blend of analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and consultative selling to uncover multithreaded expansion opportunities. You will translate complex product capabilities into clear narratives that align with specific customer workflows and competitive dynamics. By partnering directly with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing, you will ensure customer feedback directly shapes product direction and GTM strategy. You will leverage data to forecast outcomes, track account health metrics, and report on executive-level performance indicators. Ultimately, you will define and evolve the playbook for how Clay engages, retains, and scales with its most strategic partners.

- Maintain precise forecasting and KPI tracking, delivering executive-grade reports on expansion, retention, and overall account health metrics.
- Co-create and iteratively refine the strategic engagement playbooks that define how Clay builds, sustains, and grows enterprise-scale relationships.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of customer growth initiatives, adjusting tactics based on observed outcomes and evolving market conditions.
- Champion the adoption of Clay's data and AI research capabilities to demonstrate tangible business impact within the customer's organization.
- Identify adjacent segments and white-space opportunities that align with the strategic goals of Clay's top-tier clients.
- Document best practices and success stories from your portfolio to create scalable reference models for broader customer adoption.
- Partner with Customer Success leadership to design tailored onboarding and adoption roadmaps that accelerate time-to-value for complex enterprise deals.
- Represent Clay in high-stakes strategic reviews, providing data-driven narratives that justify continued investment in the platform.
Requirements
- Possess 6 or more years of professional experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success Management or Account Management within the B2B SaaS sector.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to drive revenue growth, expansion, and retention within enterprise or strategic account environments.
- Show a strong history of navigating and influencing at the executive and C-level within customer organizations and across internal corporate functions.
- Exhibit advanced skills in managing complex stakeholder ecosystems and building sustainable, high-trust relationships over extended timeframes.
- Display comprehensive fluency with Clay's platform capabilities and the ability to articulate how these features solve intricate customer growth challenges.
- Have experience developing and maintaining strategic account plans that integrate forecasting, pipeline development, and executive communication.
- Comfortably operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and problems require innovative, non-standard solutions.
- Communicate with precision and empathy, adapting your style to suit both technical practitioners and executive decision-makers.
