Key facts
What you'll do
- Monitor the entire top-of-funnel process, identifying and resolving issues like lead leaks or misrouting with GTM Engineering and marketing.
- Pinpoint discrepancies between planned and actual funnel behavior, such as untriggered campaigns or dropped leads, and quantify the impact of solutions.
- Develop operational reports and monitoring tools, including alerts and anomaly detection, to guide daily and weekly actions and inform leadership.
- Work with Analytics Engineering to ensure data models, metric definitions, and funnel logic accurately reflect business operations.
- Bridge the gap between GTM Engineering and Analytics Engineering, translating operational findings into pipeline and model enhancements.
- Supply accurate funnel data and channel diagnostics for attribution and goal-setting initiatives led by Strategic Finance and GTM leadership.
- Deliver actionable insights on campaign and channel performance to influence ongoing decisions, not just quarterly reviews.
- Investigate end-to-end customer journeys to identify friction points and opportunities for conversion optimization.
- Synthesize complex data sets into clear, visual dashboards that communicate performance trends to non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with sales operations to align marketing metrics with revenue outcomes and pipeline health.
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure integrity, consistency, and reliability across all marketing datasets.
- Explore emerging methodologies in AI and analytics to enhance current reporting practices and strategic insights.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Support A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to provide statistical validation for marketing decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of analytics experience, with at least 3 years in marketing analytics at a high-growth SaaS company.
- Demonstrated ability to convert data into actions that positively impact business outcomes.
- High proficiency in SQL is essential; experience with large, intricate datasets.
- Comprehensive understanding of the marketing funnel, from customer acquisition to retention.
- History of successful collaboration with marketing, sales, operations, and analytics engineering teams.
- A curious and persistent approach to complex problem-solving, with adaptability as new information emerges.
- Proficiency in BI tools, capable of building and managing dashboards with effective visualizations.
