Claritycx is excited to announce an opening for the Bootcamp Autism at Work program, designed to foster an inclusive work environment for individuals on the autism spectrum. This initiative aims to empower participants by providing them with the necessary skills and support to thrive in a professional setting. As a full-time position based in Riga, Latvia, this role will focus on creating tailored training programs that enhance the employability of participants while also promoting diversity within the workplace.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training curriculum tailored specifically for individuals on the autism spectrum, focusing on both soft and hard skills.
• Collaborate with industry professionals to identify key competencies and skills that are in demand, ensuring the training program aligns with market needs.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions, utilizing various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to participants, helping them navigate challenges and build confidence in their abilities.
• Establish partnerships with local businesses to create internship and job placement opportunities for program graduates.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants throughout the program, adjusting training methods as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
• Organize networking events and career fairs to connect participants with potential employers, fostering relationships that support long-term employment.
• Advocate for the inclusion of neurodiverse individuals within the workplace, promoting awareness and understanding among employers and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the program based on feedback from participants and employers.
• Maintain accurate records of participant progress, outcomes, and program effectiveness, preparing reports for stakeholders as needed.
• Engage with the community to raise awareness about autism and the benefits of a diverse workforce, participating in outreach initiatives and events.
• Stay updated on best practices and trends in autism employment programs, integrating new ideas and strategies into the curriculum.

Requirements

• A degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field, with a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders.
• At least 3 years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, preferably in a training or educational capacity.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with participants, families, and employers.
• Experience in career coaching or job placement services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with workplace accommodations and strategies for supporting neurodiverse individuals in professional settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Latvian or Russian is a plus.
• A passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with a commitment to empowering individuals on the autism spectrum.

Nice to have

• Experience in program evaluation and data analysis to assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Background in corporate training or human resources, particularly in diversity and inclusion efforts.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and tools that support individuals with autism in the workplace.
• Certification in coaching or counseling, particularly in relation to neurodiversity.
• Previous experience in community outreach or advocacy related to autism awareness.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace).
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking participant progress and program delivery.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating participant skills and progress.

Practical notes

• This is a full-time position based in Riga, Latvia, with a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Latvia and may require a work visa, depending on their nationality.
