About the role

What you'll do

• Configure and customize SAP BRIM CC modules to align with client billing requirements and business processes
• Gather and document functional requirements from stakeholders to define clear and actionable solution specifications
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper integration of billing systems with existing enterprise infrastructure
• Conduct unit testing and user acceptance testing to validate configuration changes and newly implemented functionality
• Provide functional support and troubleshooting for billing-related issues that arise in production environments
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain current SAP BRIM deployments at peak performance
• Create and maintain functional documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and detailed user manuals
• Lead training sessions for end users to ensure proper adoption and effective use of SAP BRIM functionalities
• Work with project managers to estimate effort, define timelines, and track progress of all functional deliverables
• Analyze billing data and revenue patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement and greater operational efficiency
• Assist in the design of billing strategies and revenue recognition configurations within the SAP platform
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to resolve functional issues and implement industry best practices
• Monitor billing system performance metrics and generate reports for management review and strategic decision-making

Requirements

• Proven experience as a functional consultant working with SAP BRIM or related billing and revenue modules
• Strong knowledge of billing and revenue management processes in enterprise-level environments and complex organizational structures
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional team members
• Hands-on experience with configuration and customization of SAP financial and billing modules in live settings
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience in SAP consulting and system implementation
• Familiarity with billing cycle management, invoice processing, and revenue recognition standards used in the industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and consistently meet project deadlines under pressure
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required for on-site support and implementation project engagements
• Experience working in a regulated industry such as telecommunications, utilities, or financial services is advantageous

Nice to have

• Certification in SAP BRIM or a related SAP billing certification is highly beneficial for this role
• Experience with the CC (Customer Communication) module specifically within the SAP BRIM suite is preferred
• Knowledge of revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606 or IFRS 15 is considered a plus
• Prior experience working in a consulting or systems integration environment is strongly valued and recommended
