What you'll do

• Manage and administer block storage infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintain operational conditions across various platforms, ensuring uptime and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents that may arise within the storage environments.
• Participate actively in data migration operations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate on projects aimed at evolving and enhancing existing infrastructures to meet growing business needs.
• Execute technical changes in production environments while adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
• Optimize storage environment performance and capacity through continuous monitoring and tuning.

• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support during critical incidents, ensuring rapid response and resolution.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential for this role.
• Proven experience working with enterprise storage infrastructures, particularly in environments utilizing Dell EMC technology.
• Expertise in Dell EMC VMAX and PowerMax systems, showcasing your depth of knowledge in these platforms.
• Strong understanding of Cisco SAN networks, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data migration processes, demonstrating your ability to manage transitions effectively.
• Skills in administering critical storage platforms, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Familiarity with HDS (Hitachi Data Systems) environments is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of Pure Storage technologies is a plus, enhancing your versatility within the team.
• Proficiency in English, especially in technical contexts, allowing for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Recognized for your autonomy, analytical skills, and a strong service-oriented mindset, particularly in high-stakes production environments.
