What you'll do

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify target behaviors and skill deficits for each client in the home or daycare setting.

Develop detailed, individualized treatment plans that align with best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis and family priorities.

Implement data collection systems that track progress accurately and support objective decision-making for program adjustments.

Graph and interpret behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify strategies based on clear trends.

Lead therapy sessions by providing direct supervision and in-the-moment coaching to therapists to ensure procedural fidelity.

Train and mentor therapists on ABA techniques, prompting strategies, and error correction procedures to build team capacity.

Collaborate with parents and caregivers to teach them strategies that promote skill generalization across environments and daily routines.

Coordinate with external stakeholders, including educators and physicians, to ensure consistency and continuity of care.

Monitor compliance with clinical standards and organizational policies to maintain a high level of service delivery.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback and integrating new learning into practice.

Advocate for resource allocation and schedule adjustments to meet the unique needs of clients and reduce therapist burnout.

Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members to uphold the mission and values of the organization.

Document all clinical interactions thoroughly to ensure transparency and support quality assurance reviews.

Serve as a clinical resource for other team members, offering guidance on challenging cases and ethical dilemmas.

Requirements

Hold an active BCBA certification and current state licensure as a behavior analyst.

Possess 2-4 years of hands-on experience delivering ABA instruction in home or daycare environments.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of ABA techniques, including discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and data procedures.

Show proficiency in graphing procedures and the analysis of behavioral data to inform clinical decisions.

Exhibit the ability to lead and instruct therapists with clarity, professionalism, and empathy.

Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Commit to upholding the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Display reliability in scheduling and flexibility to accommodate daytime hours as they vary to meet client needs.

Practical notes

The position offers daytime hours that are flexible to accommodate the needs of the client and the clinician.

This role is open to both part-time and full-time engagement based on client demand and candidate availability.
