About the role

You will own the design and execution of behavior intervention plans that are rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and tailored to the specific needs of each child you serve. You will analyze and interpret data to guide clinical decision making and adjust programming in a timely and effective manner. You will act as the clinical leader within the treatment team, directing the implementation of programs by therapists and ensuring adherence to best practices. You will build collaborative relationships with families, integrating their goals and priorities into the therapeutic process. You will mentor and instruct therapists, providing clear direction and constructive feedback to promote skill acquisition and professional growth. You will maintain meticulous documentation of clinical sessions, data collection, and progress notes to ensure compliance and continuity of care. You will actively participate in the ongoing quality improvement initiatives of the organization, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery. You will serve as a primary point of contact for addressing clinical concerns and questions from families and other stakeholders.

What you'll do

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify target behaviors and establish meaningful treatment goals for clients.

Develop individualized behavior intervention plans that are data-driven and aligned with the principles of ABA.

Implement evidence-based teaching strategies to promote skill acquisition in areas such as communication, socialization, and daily living.

Analyze graphical representations of data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary modifications.

Lead weekly team meetings to discuss client progress, troubleshoot challenges, and adjust therapy protocols.

Provide direct clinical instruction and supervision to therapists to ensure the accurate delivery of behavioral programs.

Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding treatment进展 and client achievements.

Schedule and coordinate therapy sessions to align with the availability of clients and the daycare setting.

Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Utilize advanced knowledge of ABA techniques to address complex behaviors and barriers to learning.

Support the integration of therapy goals within the natural environment of the daycare to promote generalization of skills.

Monitor and report on client progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaborative decision-making.

Participate in the onboarding and training of new staff members to uphold the quality of clinical services.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices and research in the field of behavior analysis.

Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures that enhance the safety and efficacy of services.

Requirements

Hold active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent licensure.

Possess a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years of direct experience delivering ABA instruction.

Demonstrate an advanced and comprehensive knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and methodologies.

Show proficiency in the collection, analysis, and graphing of behavioral data using standard procedures.

Exhibit the ability to lead, supervise, and provide instruction to therapists and support staff.

Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and professionals.

Display a commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the professional and ethical compliance code of the field.

Be able to travel to the designated service locations within the Chapel Hill area to provide in-home or daycare services.

Nice to have

Experience working within a daycare or educational setting is highly valued.

Familiarity with insurance billing and authorization processes is preferred.

Knowledge of specific therapy platforms or data systems is advantageous.

Location: This role requires travel to client locations within the Chapel Hill area to provide in-home or daycare services.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $90-$110 per hour, commensurate with experience.
