CI&T is on the lookout for both Mid-Level and Senior AI Developers to become part of an innovative project within the financial sector. This role requires individuals who can seamlessly incorporate artificial intelligence into their engineering practices, enabling the development of autonomous agents and intricate automated systems. The ideal candidates will be adept at navigating the complexities of AI integration in software development.

What you'll do
- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, from initial design to operational deployment, utilizing AI tools to enhance processes.
- Develop and implement multi-step agents and automation solutions to efficiently manage intricate tasks.
- Formulate detailed specifications and prompts that effectively direct AI model operations.
- Integrate AI-driven workflows with conventional engineering tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and observability platforms to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Assess and ensure the security, quality, and technical integrity of code produced by AI systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine AI applications and improve overall system performance.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI-generated outputs to maintain high standards of software quality.
- Engage in continuous learning and adaptation of AI methodologies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
- Mentor junior developers in AI integration practices and promote best coding standards within the team.
- Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials related to AI tools and processes.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and foster a culture of excellence.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI technologies and their applications in software development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in backend development, specifically using .NET for creating REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of messaging systems and asynchronous processing, particularly with Kafka or SQS.
- Practical experience with various AWS services, including S3, EC2, Lambdas, SQS, and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with both relational and non-relational database systems.
- In-depth understanding of distributed system architecture, focusing on Domain-Driven Design (DDD), decoupling, and scalability principles.
- A strong commitment to software quality, demonstrated through unit and integration testing practices.
- Advanced skills in leveraging AI for coding tasks, debugging, refactoring, and testing processes.
- Experience in developing multi-step agents and managing tool usage and execution planning.
- Knowledge of integration standards such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar frameworks.
- Capability to orchestrate workflows that involve multiple agents or human-in-the-loop scenarios.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-specific development methodologies, such as Software Development for AI (SDD) or AI Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC).
- Familiarity with agile development practices and tools that enhance team collaboration.
- Understanding of ethical considerations and best practices in AI development.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in .NET, AWS, Kafka, SQS, Git, CI/CD, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
