This role focuses on designing and optimizing prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract necessary data. You will contribute to building the data platform for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and web3. In this capacity, you will own the integrity and accuracy of the insights generated through AI-assisted analysis. Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop prompts and data flows for Large Language Models to structure unstructured information.
- Investigate online to identify and categorize different types of scams and scammers using open-source intelligence.
- Monitor and analyze data pipelines using SQL to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Work with large-scale data systems to handle high-volume transactional and blockchain data.
- Research needs from customers and internal teams to align analysis with real-world problems.
- Analyze online fraudulent activity by dissecting communication patterns and behavioral indicators.
- Create data-driven solutions to detect scammers by building rules and logic into analytical frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligence findings into product and security workflows.
- Maintain documentation for methodologies and prompt templates to ensure reproducibility and clarity.
- Continuously refine techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of automated analysis systems.
- Validate hypotheses through iterative testing and adjust models based on observed outcomes and feedback.
- Support the development of training materials to help stakeholders understand and utilize analytical tools effectively.
- Track emerging trends in blockchain-based fraud to anticipate new vectors of illicit activity.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the data platform by suggesting optimizations and new feature ideas.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience as a data analyst in a relevant field or comparable role.
- Excellent ability to analyze information and draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying extensive and complex datasets with precision.
- Experience utilizing Python for data functions, including scripting and automation tasks.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to communicate clearly with global stakeholders.
- Good skills in interpersonal communication to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to quickly understand new data and data systems to adapt to evolving requirements.
- A strong sense of ownership over work quality and the implications of AI-generated outputs.
- Willingness to follow Chainalysis guiding principles and contribute to a positive team environment.
