What you'll do
Investigate and analyze evolving scam patterns across various digital channels to identify new fraud methodologies and tactics.
Conduct in-depth research into social media platforms and their exploitation in fraudulent schemes to understand how attackers leverage these networks.
Query large and complex datasets using SQL to extract relevant indicators of compromise and support detailed fraud analysis.
Develop and refine prompts for large language models to improve the accuracy and reliability of automated information extraction.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI technologies into fraud detection workflows and enhance system capabilities.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI models in detecting sophisticated fraud attempts and provide feedback for optimization.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of networking principles to assess how scams propagate through digital infrastructures.
Build and maintain expertise in the dark web ecosystem to identify illicit activities and emerging fraud trends.
Document findings and insights clearly to create reports that inform strategic decisions and strengthen our threat intelligence output.
Adapt quickly to new data sources and analytical tools to keep pace with the rapidly changing threat landscape.
Serve as a subject matter expert within the organization by sharing knowledge on scam patterns and prevention techniques.
Utilize Python scripting to automate data collection and processing tasks, improving the efficiency of investigative workflows.
Engage with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that intelligence products meet operational needs.
Continuously explore additional languages to facilitate communication with international teams and broaden the scope of threat research.
Requirements
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in areas such as fraud prevention, threat hunting, or scam research demonstrating a proven track record in these domains.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of networking principles and how they relate to online scams and fraud to effectively trace malicious activities.
Show comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms and their role in facilitating scams, including the mechanisms used to deceive users.
Exhibit proficiency in SQL to query and manipulate large and complex datasets effectively while maintaining data integrity.
Have experience working with AI technologies and an understanding of their applications in fraud detection to leverage machine learning tools.
Show excellent command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate findings clearly and effectively to various audiences.
Display strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective communication and collaboration within a team environment and across departments.
Prove to be a quick learner with the ability to grasp new data and systems rapidly, adapting to changes in technology and methodologies.
Understand the importance of adhering to strict quality standards when handling sensitive data and producing intelligence reports.

Experience with Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, showcasing your skills in problem-solving and cybersecurity in practical scenarios.
