This Senior Manager role reports to the VP Head of Finance. You will function as a key thought partner to senior leadership. You will own the development and application of advanced analytical frameworks that evaluate strategic options and investment direction across the business. You will spearhead valuation work, total addressable market analysis, and primary and secondary market research initiatives. You will spearhead the advancement of overall market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering to maintain strategic advantage. You will create complex financial models and drive in-depth scenario analyses to support major capital allocation decisions. These decisions will encompass mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and new market entry strategies. You will synthesize complex scenario outputs into clear, concise, and executive-ready narratives with actionable recommendations. You will establish a framework to track post-investment performance against original underwriting assumptions and hypotheses. You will formally surface learnings and insights back into the continuous planning and modeling process.
You will serve as a trusted, go-to advisor to senior leadership on high-stakes, strategic questions with far-reaching implications. Requirements
You will bring a minimum of 6-9 years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, FP&A, or a closely related analytical field. You will demonstrate exceptional executive presentation skills, allowing you to clearly and succinctly present complex topics and analyses to a C-level audience. You will possess a true investor mindset, capable of synthesizing complex business dynamics into clear investment theses and risk-adjusted recommendations. You will exhibit strong business intuition, connecting financial outcomes directly to underlying operational drivers and telling the story behind the numbers. You will operate with comfort and effectiveness in environments characterized by ambiguity, making high-quality decisions even when information is incomplete.
You will have a strong entrepreneurial orientation, taking ownership in defining and developing the strategic finance function rather than merely executing within an existing structure. You will maintain world-class financial modeling skills, demonstrating precision and accuracy in your work. You will be highly proficient in working with large, complex data sets using both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. You will have substantial experience working within a SaaS, data, or technology company environment, which provides context for the role's demands. While familiarity with blockchain, cryptocurrency, or Web3 technologies represents a significant strength and a strong advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement for success in this position.
