What you'll do
- Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, which includes washing, vacuuming, and polishing both the interior and exterior surfaces.
- Ensure that all vehicles are presented in pristine condition, ready for customer delivery.
- Conduct inspections to identify any imperfections or areas needing additional attention.
- Utilize various cleaning products and tools to achieve the highest quality finish on each vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain high standards of quality.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive detailing.
Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 60 pounds independently and operate various vehicle equipment and tools.
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and be adaptable to different weather conditions.
- Familiarity with personal protective equipment, including goggles, gloves, and masks, is essential.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality results consistently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of different vehicle cleaning techniques and products.
- A passion for automobiles and a keen eye for detail.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in using a variety of cleaning and detailing tools and equipment, including pressure washers, vacuums, and polishing machines.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot imperfections and ensure high-quality finishes.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and care practices.
Practical notes
- The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17 to $18, depending on experience.
- The second shift schedule is from Monday to Thursday, working from 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
- Flexibility is required, as mandatory overtime may be necessary based on operational demands.
