What you'll do
- Operate a diverse range of specialized equipment to thoroughly clean and protect vehicle surfaces.
- Execute a systematic inspection of each vehicle to identify and document any pre-existing damage or imperfections.
- Perform high-standard washing and rinsing procedures to remove contaminants and preserve the integrity of the vehicle's finish.
- Conduct detailed interior cleaning, focusing on dashboards, consoles, glass, and upholstery to ensure a pristine cabin environment.
- Apply expert-level buffing and polishing techniques to restore the exterior paint and eliminate minor surface blemishes.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Utilize advanced technology and digital tools within the Inspection Center to accurately log and track vehicle conditions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other departments to move vehicles efficiently through the inspection and detailing workflow.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and escalating them to leadership for further review.
- Continuously refine your personal workflow to maximize efficiency and throughput without compromising on quality.
- Support the overall mission of the company by contributing to a seamless customer journey from vehicle intake to final delivery.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Some positions may be subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business needs to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods while performing detailed vehicle inspections and cleaning.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Trenton, OH location is required for this role.
- A demonstrated ability to follow complex instructions accurately and consistently in a production setting.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Must pass a background check as required by company policy for all new hires.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related trade is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with automotive tools and safety equipment is a plus for success in this role.
