The Senior Consultant
Endur Functional operates at the core of capSpire's mission to deliver pragmatic solutions for energy and commodity markets. You will own the design and configuration of the Endur platform to meet complex trading and risk management needs for clients in the energy sector. This role requires you to translate ambiguous business challenges into structured functional specifications that drive successful implementation outcomes. You will be a key contributor in ensuring that solution designs align with market specific conventions and regulatory expectations. The position demands a high level of ownership over the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through to deployment and support. You will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure that system configurations support real world trading workflows. Ultimately, your expertise will help clients maximize the value of their Endur investment while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and quality standards.

What you'll do
- Translate ambiguous client requirements into detailed functional specifications for Endur ETRM and CTRM solutions in the energy and commodity sectors.
- Configure core modules for deal entry, valuation, and risk limits while ensuring alignment with market specific business rules and internal policies.
- Design and execute unit tests to validate configuration changes and identify setup issues before moving into later project phases.
- Coordinate detailed walkthroughs with business users to verify that trade capture, pricing, and margin calculations reflect real world market conventions.
- Partner with delivery leaders and technical teams to resolve data migration issues and integration dependencies impacting trading books and related datasets.
- Lead process workshops to define position handling, settlement methods, and adjustment procedures in support of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Extend standard Endur behavior using calculation scripts and field rules to address specialized commodity accounting and complex trading scenarios.
- Develop and maintain reusable configuration patterns and documentation that accelerate future implementations and ensure consistent application of best practices.
- Own the creation of detailed operations handover materials and cutover rehearsals to support smooth production transitions and business continuity.
- Act as a functional expert to support change management activities and ensure stakeholder understanding of new processes and system capabilities.
- Validate data mappings and transformation logic to ensure accuracy in trade life cycle events from initiation through settlement.
- Monitor project timelines rigorously and proactively manage dependencies to meet demanding implementation schedules without sacrificing quality.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of solution scope and constraints.
- Document functional decisions and configuration logic to maintain traceability and enable long term maintainability of the system.
Requirements
- Hold hands on experience with Endur ETRM or CTRM implementations in energy or commodity markets.
- Demonstrate multiple years of experience configuring deal entry, valuation, and risk management modules for complex instruments.
- Show proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations across trading, risk, and finance functions during high pressure project timelines.
- Be comfortable working within UK regulatory expectations and energy market conventions during solution design and configuration.
- Exhibit strong ownership for delivering functional components on schedule while adhering to established best practices and quality standards.
- Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative consulting team in a fast paced environment.
- Have a clear understanding of energy and commodity trading processes, including risk management, settlement, and position handling.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences using precise and structured functional language.

Practical notes
The role is based in the United Kingdom and operates on a project based consulting model. Travel to client sites may be required depending on project needs. The engagement covers energy and commodity markets. The fixed annual basic compensation for this position is 80,000 GBP.
