In this role, you will design and deploy capabilities that leverage modern automation and AI-native solutions to modernize workflows. You will lead several concurrent projects, moving beyond basic implementation to deeply understand a customer's core objectives. Your work will deliver solutions that drive digital transformation and measurable organizational change for the client. You will balance technical execution with a consultative mindset, managing project details while partnering to identify growth opportunities. You will be the expert in the room, advising on best practices that drive measurable value across various industries.

What you'll do

• Lead your customers and cross-functional peers through strong business and technical acumen by advising on best practices that drive measurable value, advising customers to modernize and optimize their workflows across a variety of industries and use cases.
• Partner with customers to design and implement strategic solutions, leveraging a broad range of Smartsheet capabilities to drive organizational change and maximize long-term value.
• Lead in-depth discovery sessions to understand business challenges and design custom solutions that incorporate AI-native functionalities and best-in-class automation.
• Develop Smartsheet solutions through prototyping and iterative sprints, incorporating frequent customer feedback to ensure the final product meets complex business needs.
• Review solution designs through internal testing and facilitate user acceptance testing with stakeholders to ensure deliverable accuracy and depth.
• Take full ownership of project delivery, including timeline, deliverables, scope, and budget, while taking a proactive approach to mitigating risks in partnership with the customer team, internal project team, and internal account team.
• Stay current on rapidly evolving industry trends and Smartsheet capabilities, maintaining an open mindset toward testing, learning, and sharing new delivery methodologies.
• Partner with fellow consulting team members to share insights from customers and relevant industries and participate in the department's mentor program both as a mentee and mentor.
• Identify product and services expansion opportunities, collaborating closely with Sales to influence account strategy and drive customer growth.
• Consistently perform against individual and team KPIs, including target billable utilization, project margin targets, customer satisfaction ratings, and accurate data maintenance.
• Lead the orchestration of human teams and AI agents to automate manual tasks and uncover insights at scale, creating space for judgment, creativity, and big thinking.
• Champion the magic of human and AI collaboration by demonstrating how AI-native solutions can unlock new levels of efficiency and innovation for clients.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable solution designs that leverage the Smartsheet platform and its automation capabilities.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and validate solution approaches with key decision-makers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in management or technology consulting.
• A strong willingness and track record of performing within a team environment.
• A proven ability to succeed in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and adapt quickly as customer needs, tools, and industry trends evolve.
• Hands-on experience in the configuration and implementation of leading-edge, web-based SaaS applications.
• A strong aptitude for learning and mastering new technologies and methodologies, applying this learning to client challenges quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a structured, disciplined manner.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and professionalism in all deliverables and client interactions.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI automation platforms and emerging technologies relevant to digital transformation initiatives.
• Background in industries such as healthcare, finance, or technology where complex workflows are prevalent.
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade security and compliance frameworks.
• Previous experience mentoring junior consultants or leading internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• A portfolio demonstrating successful digital transformation projects or process optimization engagements.

Practical notes

This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from the Eastern region in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
