The is responsible for steering the company's go-to-market motion through rigorous financial analysis and strategic oversight. You will act as a senior thought leader, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to shape and execute the enterprise selling strategy. Success in this position will be measured by your direct contribution to topline growth, with an expectation of exponential revenue expansion over the coming years. This role demands a unique blend of financial acumen and revenue operations expertise to ensure alignment across all GTM functions. You will own the end-to-end planning process, setting the strategic direction for pipeline generation and conversion. Your work will establish the foundational metrics that define success across channels and functions. Ultimately, you will be the architect of data-driven decisions that optimize unit economics and maximize long-term value.

What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive strategic planning and analysis to forecast bookings and determine sales capacity requirements, driving the creation of annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reporting deliverables.
- Architect and implement sophisticated pricing frameworks and deal desk processes designed to optimize unit economics while supporting volume growth objectives.
- Design and own metric definitions, success measurements, and grading systems that evaluate channel and function level ROI, payback periods, and the entire Sales pipeline from TOF to BOF.
- Execute deep insights analysis and root cause investigations on funnel performance, channel effectiveness, and overall GTM health in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain excellent, scalable processes that enable continuous evaluation of strategy and execution through systematic pipeline reviews and deal assessments.
- Serve as the primary owner of executive communication for GTM performance, crafting the end-to-end narrative for leadership and guiding strategic discussions.
- Partner with the Head of Finance and senior leadership team to evaluate growth capital decisions and maximize growth potential through informed financial guidance.
- Leverage AI-enabled forecasting tools and systems to automate variance analysis and rolling forecasts, shifting focus toward high-impact strategic problem-solving.
- Define and manage lead generation reach, stage win rates, and conversion metrics to ensure marketing efforts align with pipeline and revenue targets.
- Analyze customer segmentation and marketing performance data to identify high-value segments and optimize channel efficiency.
Requirements
- Bring 6-10 years of cumulative finance experience, with a proven background in strategic finance, investment banking, and/or private equity.
- Demonstrate prior experience managing GTM finance for a multi-channel enterprise (B2B) selling motion, showcasing your ability to handle complexity.
- Establish yourself as an analytical powerhouse, driven by innate curiosity to uncover root causes and derive insights from large, complex data sets.
- Show high proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, ensuring you can manipulate data efficiently and build robust financial models.
- Exhibit comfort using SQL to pull and analyze your own data, reducing reliance on others for critical insights.
- Translate dense financial data into compelling narratives for non-finance stakeholders, making complex concepts accessible and actionable.
- Combine deep financial expertise with practical operational leadership, delivering results while maintaining a strategic perspective.
- Display comfort partnering with executives on long-term strategy, providing clear recommendations and owning decisive action.

The position is based in the San Francisco Office, requiring an in-person work arrangement. The expected schedule consists of 4 days working from the San Francisco office and 1 day working remotely each week.
