What you'll do

Reformulate product management practices and build new systems so Candid delivers reliable services to customers. Define the product vision and align it with engineering and design to execute on releases. Own business goals and ensure partner teams share accountability for outcomes. Construct rigorous reporting dashboards to provide visibility and accountability.

Requirements

Bring 7+ years of experience as a product manager. Build data-intensive products and applications while grounding decisions in unit economics. Use data to derive insights and influence critical product decisions. Work effectively as an outcome-oriented collaborator who biases towards action. Read code and discuss technical details to partner with engineering. Lead and scale a product function with broad scope in fast moving or late stage SaaS or fintech environments. Apply experience in healthcare or medical billing or in other highly regulated industries when relevant. Apply experience building ML or AI products that solve real world problems when relevant.

Team members work in-person at offices in Denver, New York, or San Francisco on a 4 days in-office and 1 day remote weekly. Typical interview steps

Data interviews commonly include a SQL or coding exercise, a statistics question, and a case study. Candidates may be asked to design a metric, interpret an experiment, or build a small model. Some companies give a take-home analysis. Expect questions about past projects and the business impact of your work. Interviewers often evaluate how you communicate uncertainty and business impact, not only the math. Bringing a clean write-up of a past analysis to the interview is well received.
