Associate CEO Office
Job description
About the role
You will own strategic initiatives that directly influence the direction and execution of the company alongside the Founders. This role requires you to synthesize complex information into clear narratives and decisions that shape the firm's trajectory. You will act as a critical extension of the leadership team, translating ambiguous opportunities into structured workstreams. You will take full ownership of high-priority projects from conception through delivery, coordinating inputs and stakeholders without direct oversight. You will build a unique, cross-functional perspective by interfacing with every department and understanding how decisions impact the entire business. Your analysis and recommendations will be read and acted upon by the Founders and C-suite leadership, making your work instrumental to the company's strategy.
Key facts
What you'll do
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments that feed directly into strategic decisions for the leadership team.
Support high-priority projects by running analyses, preparing research, and coordinating inputs across teams, taking ownership of smaller workstreams end-to-end as you ramp up.
Maintain key metrics, dashboards, and reporting inputs that the Strategy team relies on, with your work going directly to the Founders and leadership team for operational oversight.
Help prepare company-wide communications and all-hands materials that keep the organisation informed and aligned on priorities and results.
Identify patterns and surface insights proactively, building your own view of where Bunch should be heading and making the case for strategic bets.
Work alongside experienced operators and quickly take on more responsibility as you grow, transitioning from task execution to initiative ownership.
Leverage AI tools instinctively to research faster, stress-test your thinking, and generate sharper outputs, while understanding the limitations and verifying the results.
Fluent English is required for all internal and external communications, while German is a plus for broader collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Engage with fund operations and private markets data to inform infrastructure requirements and product direction, ensuring solutions are practical and scalable.
Translate ambiguous problems into structured analyses, defining success metrics and outlining options to support data-driven decision-making.
Synthesize feedback from customers and internal teams to refine requirements and ensure solutions address real user needs.
Own specific projects end-to-end, coordinating stakeholders and managing timelines to deliver high-impact results with minimal supervision.
Contribute to the development of internal frameworks, playbooks, and documentation that standardize how the team operates and scales.
Act as a bridge between technical and operational teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and clarity of objectives for all workstreams.
Requirements
You have up to 1 year of professional experience with strong internships at high-performing startups, consulting firms, or fast-paced environments where you delivered real results.
You are analytically sharp and can structure a problem, gather the right data, and turn it into a clear, actionable output that influences decisions.
You are hungry, reliable, and low-ego, picking things up fast, asking smart questions, and not needing to be told twice to execute.
You know what you don't know and ask early rather than guessing, while also coming with suggestions rather than only flagging problems.
You actively seek feedback and use it to sharpen your instincts for what matters and what does not in the context of the business.
You reach for AI tools instinctively to research faster and stress-test your thinking, producing sharper outputs while understanding the limits of the technology.
You communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize complex topics for diverse audiences.
You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a schedule of 3 days per week in the office located in Berlin.
Nice to have
An interest in private markets, fund operations, and the infrastructure that enables scale for managers and LPs.
Experience working with data tools, dashboards, and visualization platforms to turn raw information into insights.
