You will define the motion language for the PUBG IP shooter project while safeguarding animation quality across all layers. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to live operations. You will work with global partners while respecting cultural expectations and maintaining consistent delivery standards.
Core Responsibilities
You will establish animation direction and quality benchmarks for the entire project scope. This involves designing character movement, timing, and responsiveness to enhance gameplay feel and player satisfaction. You will lead combat, traversal, and interaction animations across all gameplay systems and sequences.
Implementation will occur in collaboration with design, engineering, and technical art teams to ensure correct system behavior. You will review work from both internal teams and external vendors, providing actionable feedback to foster iterative improvement. Further duties include improving animation pipelines, state machine logic, and blending setups to boost stability and artist efficiency.
Performance consciousness is central to this role. You will manage animation creation and optimization decisions with target platform requirements in mind. Coordination with partners will ensure alignment on content delivery, milestone commitments, and integration schedules.
Essential Qualifications
You must define clear animation intent and quality metrics for every assigned feature. A strong foundation in character movement, combat, and interaction implementation is required. You should possess years of experience implementing these elements within a game engine.
The ability to work effectively with design, programming, and technical art constraints is mandatory. Clear communication in both written and verbal form with diverse global stakeholders is essential.
