Key facts

What you'll do

• Work closely with the development team to design and optimize development pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring a reliable and verifiable process for build management, configuration, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing.
• Facilitate technical workflows among planning, art, and technology teams, proactively identifying dependencies and potential risks.
• Set up technical timelines and quality benchmarks for project milestones and releases, leveraging data to illustrate progress and identify bottlenecks.
• Use your engineering expertise to connect development and management roles, with opportunities to grow your career (project management skills will be honed on the job).
• Engage in regular communication with team members to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the development process.
• Participate in team meetings to provide updates on project status and to discuss any challenges faced.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and workflows within the team.

Requirements

• Solid experience in game or software development, regardless of specialization (client, server, engine, infrastructure, etc.).
• Understanding of engineering workflows, including build management, configuration, CI/CD, and automated testing, either through hands-on experience or a strong theoretical background.
• A keen interest in evolving your role to encompass coordination of people and workflows beyond just coding.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various disciplines.
• Proficiency in Korean is essential for effective communication.
• Must be open to international travel without restrictions.
• Previous project management experience is not mandatory; the team is prepared to support individuals transitioning from development roles to management.

Nice to have

• Experience in creating or managing CI/CD pipelines, build systems, or automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with large-scale configuration management systems, such as Perforce.
• Background in organizing team tasks and mentoring peers, indicating a desire for leadership roles.
• Proficient in utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence for tracking and visualizing project schedules and progress.
• Knowledge of development environments and workflows for large projects utilizing Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience in enhancing operational efficiency through AI or automation technologies.
• Involvement in AAA PC/Console game development from inception to live service.
• Experience collaborating across multiple parties in a global context.
