Registered Dietitian
Job description
About the role
Blueberry Pediatrics is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the Blueberry Balance team, a virtual, pediatric-led metabolic health program dedicated to providing comprehensive weight-management care for adolescents in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you will review each family's clinical picture, including medical history, labs, and baseline health evaluations, to understand the full clinical picture before the first visit. You will identify nutrition-relevant risks, comorbidities, and considerations, ensuring that any necessary physician attention is flagged promptly and addressed. You will meet with patients and their families via telehealth to assess needs, goals, eating patterns, and readiness for change in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. You will design an appropriate, individualized nutrition and care plan for each teen, one that fits the family's life, culture, and resources, and that works in concert with medical treatment including GLP-1 therapy where clinically appropriate. You will provide ongoing counseling, monitoring, and plan adjustment as the family progresses, ensuring continuity of care and measurable health outcomes over time. You will stay coordinated with the rest of the care team so every family experiences one coherent plan rather than a set of disconnected touchpoints, reinforcing the mission of delivering clinic-level care in the living room. This is a role for a dietitian who wants to work at the front edge of adolescent metabolic care, including alongside GLP-1 therapy, and who sees nutrition counseling as a relationship with a family, not a handout.
