Enterprise Account Executive
Job description
Enterprise Account Executive at Blp Digital.
About the role
BLP Digital is seeking a driven and curious Account Executive to spearhead revenue expansion within mid-market and enterprise segments in the German market. The successful candidate will take complete ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, guiding organizations toward automating their ERP processes through intelligent agentic AI. You will engage with senior stakeholders such as CFOs, CIOs, and COOs to uncover strategic challenges and position automation as a core enabler of efficiency and insight. This role demands a high level of ownership where you will shape deal strategy, manage complex negotiations, and directly influence how the next generation of enterprises operate. You will work in close collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless and value-driven customer journey. The position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence. If you are passionate about building the future of enterprise automation, this role offers the opportunity to have a direct and measurable impact on a rapidly scaling global platform.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Architect and execute a precise territory and account strategy for the DACH region, defining target accounts, key stakeholders, and multi-threaded engagement sequences.
- Generate net-new pipeline through a blend of outbound prospecting, strategic partner motion, high-impact events, and structured customer referral programs.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline, ensuring a repeatable and metrics-driven cadence that accurately reflects deal health.
- Practice deep insight-led selling by challenging the customer's initial assumptions and introducing a sharper point of view centered on exceptions, approvals, and master data control.
- Lead executive discovery sessions to uncover operational bottlenecks and decision friction, translating these insights into a compelling target-state narrative and mutual action plan.
- Build and sustain alignment across CFO and CIO-led buying committees, effectively managing champions, economic buyers, IT and security teams, and process owners.
- Own the complete commercial lifecycle, including crafting the business case, defining pricing strategy, developing proposals, and leading negotiation and contracting.
- Quantify and communicate the tangible value of automation, such as capacity release, cycle time reduction, control and compliance improvements, and stack simplification, tying outcomes to executive priorities and budget cycles.
- Drive deals to closure with clear next steps, strong governance, and accurate forecasting, ensuring commitments are met and revenue targets are exceeded.
- Orchestrate seamless collaboration with presales and solutions engineering teams to run targeted workshops and demos that de-risk technical concerns around security, integration, and rollout.
- Partner closely with Customer Success to define implementation readiness criteria, establish success metrics, and map out expansion paths from day one.
- Ensure continuity of the value narrative during the transition from sale to implementation, guaranteeing a smooth handoff and sustained outcome realization.
- Position BLP Digital against fragmented point solutions by articulating a clear end-to-end, exceptions-first automation narrative that differentiates our platform.
- Anticipate competitive responses and neutralize potential objections with crisp differentiation, evidence-based reasoning, and compelling proof points.
Requirements
- Bring 5-10+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS selling experience within complex solution environments, demonstrating a consistent track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
- Show proven ability to run insight-led enterprise sales cycles where you can respectfully challenge the status quo, quantify business impact, and mobilize cross-functional buying committees.
- Exhibit a strong executive presence and comfort level when engaging with CFOs, CIOs, and Heads of Shared Services in high-stakes enterprise settings.
- Demonstrate mastery in managing complex, multi-threaded deals, including the use of mutual action plans, MEDDICC-style qualification frameworks, and rigorous forecasting discipline.
- Highlight a history of strong collaboration with presales, solutions engineers, and post-sales teams, ensuring that what you sell can be delivered and scaled effectively.
- Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of crafting and delivering sophisticated narratives to senior leadership across diverse cultures and regions.
- Show resilience and self-motivation in navigating long sales cycles and overcoming objections with persistence and creativity.
- Commit to upholding the highest standards of transparency, candour, and ownership in all professional interactions and decision-making processes.
Nice to have
- Experience selling to customers in the Fortune 500 and working within highly regulated industries where compliance and control are paramount.
- Prior exposure to ERP, finance, procurement, or supply chain automation landscapes and an understanding of related stakeholder ecosystems.
- Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and the ability to discuss the strategic implications of autonomous systems in enterprise environments.
