About the role
You will own the end-to-end customer voice strategy at BLP Digital, transforming the experience of more than 550 enterprise users into a core growth lever. In this role, you are the central advocate responsible for building and scaling a structured customer reference program from the ground up. You will directly manage the identification, recruitment, and nurturing of referenceable customers to ensure a robust pipeline of champions. This is a hands-on, fully owned position where you will produce tangible proof points such as published case studies, detailed success stories, and compelling customer quotes. You will act as the crucial bridge between our customers and our internal teams, ensuring that authentic outcomes drive our market narrative. The role places you at the intersection of marketing, sales, and customer success, requiring constant collaboration with senior leaders across these functions. You will leverage deep expertise in both technology and industrial business processes to ensure our advocacy story is credible and impactful.

What you'll do
- Establish and execute the end-to-end customer reference program, defining the target segments, outreach strategy, and selection criteria for referenceable customers.
- Identify and recruit high-potential customer champions, building a diverse reference pipeline that aligns with key sales opportunities and strategic industry use cases.
- Manage the entire reference lifecycle, coordinating internal approvals and navigating corporate communications to secure timely sign-offs from customer-side stakeholders.
- Produce high-impact customer proof points, owning the full creation cycle of case studies, success stories, and executive quotes from initial interview through final publication.
- Drive systematic review generation and active management on key platforms such as G2 and Gartner Peer Insights, transforming qualitative feedback into quantifiable market proof.
- Recruit, prepare, and coach customer speakers to represent BLP Digital at webinars, industry events, analyst briefings, and targeted press opportunities.
- Establish a structured interface with Customer Success and Sales teams to jointly identify advocacy candidates and align on the timing and scope of reference requests.
- Track and analyze program performance, measuring reference coverage by industry, the usage rate of advocacy assets within the sales cycle, and the influence of customer proof on pipeline generation.
- Supply curated customer evidence and quotes to fuel demand generation campaigns, website content, public relations initiatives, and executive-level presentations.
- Ensure that every claim made by BLP Digital is substantiated by a real customer outcome, maintaining strict alignment between marketing narratives and verified results.
Requirements
- Possess 4-7 years of professional experience in B2B software marketing, demonstrating a consistent track record of delivering measurable marketing impact.
- Have at least 2 years of dedicated experience in customer marketing, advocacy programs, or reference management within an enterprise software context.
- Demonstrate proven success in extracting case studies and customer references from enterprise environments, managing complex corporate communications processes.
- Navigate legal reviews and long internal approval cycles with persistence and professionalism, ensuring assets are completed and published efficiently.
- Exhibit exceptional stakeholder management skills, building strong internal relationships with Customer Success and Sales to secure access to the best customer accounts.
- Show strong interviewing and storytelling capabilities, able to guide C-level executives such as COOs to articulate business value in clear, quantifiable terms.
- Transform these insights into compelling narratives that resonate with senior decision-makers, such as CFOs, and fit neatly into their operational frameworks.
- Build structured programs from scratch, establishing processes, pipelines, and key performance indicators without relying on an existing, mature system.
- Communicate fluently in both English and German, reflecting the primary language needs of our concentrated DACH region customer base.
- Bring a distinct advantage through prior familiarity with ERP-centric processes, finance operations, or enterprise software solutions in manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in Germany. The role requires significant travel to interact with enterprise customers and internal teams across various locations.
