What you'll do

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful teams.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse teams.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring individuals and teams, with a focus on professional development and performance improvement.
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive team performance.
• Proven experience in conflict resolution and facilitating difficult conversations in a constructive manner.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in implementing Agile practices within engineering teams.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced tech company.
• Knowledge of tools and platforms used for team collaboration and performance tracking.
• Certification in coaching or people management (e.g., ICF, SHRM, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience in promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within teams.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Familiarity with performance management software and employee engagement platforms.

• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops and training sessions.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and practices, enabling effective coaching of technical teams.
