This role owns the identity verification and onboarding experience for every new user across iOS and React Native. As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer in the Registration Squad, you will design and deliver mobile flows that connect users with KYC providers, guide them through verification, and ensure compliance across multiple markets including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Gibraltar, and the United States. Your responsibilities directly determine whether a person can access financial services on the platform.

You will work closely with product, backend, and compliance stakeholders to shape technical direction in a domain where quality, security, and user experience are non negotiable. The role requires balancing fast iteration cycles with the stability and trust that regulated financial services demand.

Reports To

This position reports to the Registration Engineering Manager and participates in cross squad coordination to align on product and compliance priorities.

Who You Are

You bring extensive experience in React Native development, with a track record of shipping production mobile applications at scale across both iOS and React Native. You have deep knowledge of native iOS development and understand how to bridge mobile interfaces with backend systems.

You have hands on experience integrating third party SDKs, including identity verification or biometric providers, and you understand the constraints and tradeoffs of mobile integration in regulated environments. Your architectural decisions result in mobile codebases that are testable, maintainable, and resilient to rapid product changes.

Comfortable working across mobile and backend boundaries, you read and design REST APIs, manage asynchronous flows, and understand how mobile state interacts with backend services. You communicate complex technical decisions clearly in English, both in writing and during discussions with engineering peers, product managers, and senior leadership.

You operate with a high degree of autonomy, identifying problems, proposing solutions, and driving them through to production. A strong sense of urgency guides your work as you operate in fast paced, high stakes fintech environments where compliance and user trust are critical.

Nice to have experience with KYC or AML flows, identity verification providers such as Incode, Jumio, IDWall, and onboarding funnel design in regulated financial products.

What You Will Do

You will own the full KYC and onboarding mobile flows, designing, building, and maintaining the screens, navigation, and SDK integrations that move a user from signup through identity verification and level upgrades. You translate compliance rules into resilient mobile implementations that respect regional requirements.

You will drive architecture decisions for React Native, defining patterns and standards that keep the mobile surfaces consistent and maintainable across the Registration Squad. Integration of identity verification and biometric providers will be orchestrated within the constraints of regulated mobile deployments.

Refactoring navigation logic will stabilize user flows while preserving high release quality across both iOS and React Native platforms. You will coordinate with compliance and legal teams to ensure mobile behavior aligns with regional rules for MX, BR, CO, AR, GI, and US.

Your test strategies for registration screens will be streamlined to reduce regressions during fast product iterations. You will enable product experiments by building flexible feature flags and configuration options for onboarding journeys. Partnering with analytics, you will validate that onboarding behavior data is accurate and actionable for decision makers. You will champion release practices that keep app reliability high even when changes must ship quickly under scrutiny.

Requirements

You have hands on experience with React Native and native iOS modules, demonstrated by shipped applications in production. You have integrated third party SDKs under regulatory pressure, understanding tradeoffs around security and performance.

You design mobile architectures that remain maintainable while product teams iterate rapidly in a fintech context. You communicate technical tradeoffs clearly in English during cross functional discussions and written documentation.

You work autonomously, identifying problems, proposing solutions, and driving them through to stable production. You operate comfortably in fast paced, high stakes environments where user trust and regulatory compliance are critical.

Nice to Have
