What you'll do

• Oversee and manage the integration of multiple program components, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during program execution.
• Prepare and present program status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure that all program requirements are met and that deliverables are of high quality.
• Lead program meetings, documenting discussions, decisions, and action items to ensure accountability and follow-through.
• Analyze program performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing changes as necessary to enhance efficiency.
• Support budget management by tracking expenditures and ensuring that programs remain within financial constraints.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices across program teams.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing support and expertise to help them develop their skills and advance their careers.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in program management, applying this knowledge to enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or integration, preferably within a government or defense contracting environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong understanding of program management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on results.
• Familiarity with budget management and financial tracking processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required for the role.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar applications.

Nice to have

• Experience working with federal government agencies or defense contractors.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, or similar).
• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Experience in a leadership role, mentoring junior staff or leading project teams.
