What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of program performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to assess program effectiveness and provide actionable insights to enhance decision-making.
- Facilitate regular meetings with project teams to review progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Support the development and implementation of program strategies, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes against established benchmarks, providing recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and business cases for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and funding requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform program development and enhance organizational capabilities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to various audiences, including executive leadership, to communicate program status and strategic insights.
- Engage with external partners and stakeholders to gather insights and foster collaboration on program initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in program analysis, project management, or a related role, preferably within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes and compliance requirements is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of performance measurement frameworks and evaluation techniques.
- Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, or similar) is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a consulting role or working with federal agencies.
- Understanding of data visualization techniques and tools.
