What you'll do
- Spearhead enhancements to the product development lifecycle, refining processes, rituals, and tools utilized by Product Managers to elevate team productivity and product excellence.
- Supervise the product roadmap, ensuring that the systems, infrastructure, and governance are in place to maintain its accuracy, completeness, and visibility for all relevant stakeholders.
- Design and improve workflows for Product Managers throughout the product lifecycle, pinpointing and addressing bottlenecks to enhance speed, quality, and consistency in deliverables.
- Establish and uphold standards for a well-structured and prioritized backlog, ensuring that Product Requirements Documents meet quality benchmarks before development commences.
- Build and maintain the technical backbone of our product operations by configuring Jira and Confluence, as well as creating automated system integrations.
- Deploy AI-driven tools and processes to streamline tasks for Product Managers, such as drafting requirements, refining backlogs, and synthesizing customer insights, with a focus on achieving measurable efficiency improvements.
- Oversee the operational elements of the product roadmap, developing necessary systems in Jira, Confluence, and dashboards to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
- Define governance standards for roadmap data, which encompass date confidence, data hygiene, and frequency of updates.
- Generate reports and dashboards for leadership, offering insights into the health of the roadmap and potential delivery risks.
- Organize and facilitate product team events, managing logistics and planning to foster team cohesion and focus on content.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new product managers, ensuring they are well-integrated into the team.
- Establish and track metrics for Product team performance and process health, providing regular updates to Product leadership on progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in product operations, product management, or related roles within rapidly growing technology firms.
- Extensive familiarity with product management and collaboration tools, particularly Jira and Confluence, as well as AI systems like Claude or similar.
- Proven experience in implementing and refining product development processes, metrics frameworks, and operational systems to boost efficiency and quality.
- Experience with agile methodologies, adapting processes to meet the diverse needs of teams while ensuring organizational consistency.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or significantly contribute to a team's adoption of AI-enhanced workflows, distinguishing between genuine improvements and superficial applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a history of influencing cross-functional teams and executive leadership effectively.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of juggling multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with resource planning, capacity management, and budgeting processes to maximize team efficiency and product delivery.
- A data-driven mindset in product operations, having developed metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into product performance and team effectiveness.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Jira Product Discovery, Cursor, or Notion would be beneficial.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Claude (or other leading AI systems).
