As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our deployment processes and ensuring the reliability of our services. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve system performance.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with software developers to understand application requirements and translate them into scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring high availability and security.
• Develop and maintain configuration management scripts using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate system configurations.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization and application performance.
• Work with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate application deployment and scaling.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems and respond to incidents as they arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Document processes, configurations, and architectural decisions to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our DevOps practices.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a strong understanding of software development and system administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automating build and deployment processes.
• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Previous experience in a SaaS environment, particularly in the finance or HR tech sectors.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert) are a plus.
