About the role
You will serve as the primary brand ambassador inside retail environments, translating brand strategy into on-the-ground execution with precision and energy. This role owns the full in-store experience, from initial consumer engagement to final shelf reset, ensuring that every interaction reinforces the brand promise. You will partner directly with retail leadership to align on goals, troubleshoot obstacles, and secure premium placement that drives foot traffic. Using your expertise in beauty trends and consumer behavior, you will gather real-time feedback and translate it into actionable insights for the strategic team. You are responsible for maintaining the visual integrity of the brand, ensuring all displays, signage, and materials adhere to brand standards and campaign guidelines. This position demands comfort with ambiguity, as you will navigate shifting schedules and multiple brands while maintaining a consistent standard of excellence. You will act as a liaison between the corporate team and the retail floor, communicating needs, successes, and opportunities clearly and professionally. Ultimately, your work will be measured by the sales lift and brand engagement you generate in each store you touch.

What you'll do
Execute end-to-end in-store activations, setting up displays, arranging products, and ensuring prime visibility within high-traffic zones.
Partner with retail staff to coordinate launch events, sampling sessions, and demonstration moments that connect authentically with the consumer.
Monitor inventory levels in real time, initiate restocking calls, and perform meticulous shelf audits to prevent gaps or out-of-stock scenarios.
Champion the brand by delivering memorable customer interactions, answering detailed product questions, and highlighting unique formulation benefits.
Collect structured observational data and consumer feedback, documenting trends, reactions, and competitor activity during each visit.
Maintain pristine presentation standards by refreshing displays, replacing damaged units, and rotating stock to preserve a premium look and feel.
Collaborate with category partners to synchronize visit cadence, maximize coverage, and reduce overlap across shared retail locations.
Utilize digital tools and reporting platforms to log activities, capture photo evidence, and submit timely summaries for each store check-in.
Adapt scheduling to meet peak demand windows, arriving prepared with the right assets, materials, and professional demeanor regardless of conditions.
Support marketing experiments by testing new planograms, messaging angles, and creative concepts in live environments to inform future strategy.
Requirements
You must hold a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is not required but is strongly preferred if you are pursuing long-term growth.
You must be at least 18 years of age to enter retail environments and handle consumer products independently.
You must have the legal right to work in the United States, and you will be required to present documentation before beginning any shifts.
You must pass a background check and maintain a professional image that reflects well on the brands and retailers you represent.
You must be comfortable working inside fast-paced retail settings that involve extended periods of standing, walking, and light lifting.
You must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to reach Myrtle Beach, SC, and surrounding store locations as needed.
You must demonstrate strong communication skills, balancing assertiveness with empathy when engaging both retail associates and end consumers.
You must follow detailed instructions, adapt to shifting priorities, and manage your time effectively without constant supervision.
Nice to have
Experience in the beauty, fragrance, or skincare sectors is preferred, as it allows for more confident product storytelling.
Familiarity with digital reporting tools and retail execution platforms is helpful for streamlining data capture and submission.
Previous work in team-based field roles is valued, especially when it contributes to smoother collaboration with coworkers and retail partners.
An understanding of current beauty trends, social media dynamics, and in-store promotional mechanics is considered a strong advantage.
Practical notes
This is a part-time role with a fluctuating schedule, ranging from 0 to 20 hours per month based on brand and retailer demand.
Work is concentrated in the Myrtle Beach, SC area, and assignments may require travel between stores and malls as scheduled.
