What You Will Do
You will lead the end-to-end design for a data-centric product. Your primary goal is to simplify complex e-commerce metrics and demonstrate the value of user-generated content in an intuitive and actionable way. You will partner with product managers and engineers in an empowered team model to oversee the user experience from initial conception through launch and ongoing optimization.
Defining the structure and flow of performance dashboards is a key responsibility. You will create design flows and experiences that are simple and elegant. You will use findings from user research and data analysis to constantly improve the clarity of our insights. Strategic thinking is essential, as you will define not only how a product should look but also what we should build and why.
You will identify opportunities for AI to transform our design approach and mentor others on its effective use. This includes owning the visual and interaction details for complex data tools used by retailers globally. You will review concepts to ensure they meet user needs, business goals, and the highest usability standards.
A product mindset and a deep understanding of the entire product development process are required. You must have experience designing dashboards, analytics tools, and complex data visualizations that simplify and communicate large datasets, particularly within e-commerce or analytics platforms.
Proficiency with design systems and the ability to help evolve them is necessary. Strong communication skills are required to help people across the company understand your proposals and the nuances of design problems. A growth mindset is essential, including a willingness to own problems, comfort with ambiguity, and a desire to improve things.
