About the role
You will be the principal HR Business Partner for one or more sectors within our Consulting business, owning the full breadth of the people agenda for those sectors. You will operate across a wide spectrum of people activities, including workforce planning, talent and succession, leadership capability, performance and development, employee relations, employee engagement, reward, promotions and people insights. You will develop and own sector-specific People Plans, ensuring progress against them while engaging closely with other People function partners such as Reward, Recruitment and L&D to deliver integrated outcomes. You will build trusted relationships with Partner Leads and provide advice to help them deliver the people elements of their business plans effectively. You will leverage people data, insights and feedback to identify risks, opportunities and emerging priorities that inform decision-making and targeted people interventions. You will support organisational change and transformation activity, helping leaders navigate change and manage the associated people impacts successfully.

- Operate across a broad range of people activities, including workforce planning, talent and succession planning, leadership capability, performance management, development, employee relations, employee engagement, reward, promotions and people insights.
- Develop and own sector-specific People Plans for your client groups and be accountable for driving progress against these plans.
- Collaborate with other parts of the People function, such as Reward, Recruitment and Learning and Development, to deliver coherent and effective outcomes.

- Work closely with your People Sponsor Partner and Sector Lead as key stakeholders to shape and enable the people strategy for your sector(s).

- Provide support for organisational change and transformation activity, helping leaders navigate change and manage the people impacts effectively.
- Advise and support leaders and people managers on a wide range of people matters, including organisational effectiveness, talent management, engagement, performance and development.
- Manage an HR Advisor who provides support across multiple sectors, ensuring their work is coordinated and aligned with sector needs.
- Flex your approach to support colleagues outside the UK, adapting your style and methods to different cultural and regulatory contexts.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of people strategies that enable growth, transformation and operational excellence.
- Act as a change champion, promoting people-centric approaches and ensuring that employee considerations are central to transformation initiatives.
- Maintain a strong focus on people insights, using data and feedback to drive evidence-based decisions and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- You have experience as an HR Business Partner working in a complex, matrixed professional services environment.
- You have a strong understanding of end-to-end people processes and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- You have demonstrated capability in workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
- You have experience in managing employee relations and handling sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- You have a solid track record of using people data and insights to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes.
- You have experience supporting organisational change and transformation programmes, helping leaders manage the people side of change.
- You have the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide trusted advice on people matters.
- You are able to flex your style and approach to work effectively with colleagues in different countries and regulatory environments.
