About the role
You will be the principal HR Business Partner for Baringa Enablement, owning the full breadth of the people agenda for this critical corporate function on a fifteen month fixed-term contract. This role requires a proactive partner who translates business strategy into tangible people actions and drives execution across the employee lifecycle. You will operate with significant scope across workforce planning, talent management, leadership capability, performance, employee relations, engagement, reward, and people insights. You will build trusted relationships with senior leaders, providing coaching, challenge, and support to ensure positive people and business outcomes are achieved. The position is integral to navigating organisational change, managing the impact of transformation initiatives, and enabling the firm to deliver with greater confidence and certainty. You will use data, feedback, and insights to identify risks and opportunities, informing decision-making and interventions that unlock growth and modernise financial platforms from within.

What you'll do
Partner with senior leaders in Baringa Enablement to develop and own the People Plan, translating people priorities into clear actions and joined-up outcomes.
Operate across a broad range of people activities including workforce planning, talent and succession, leadership capability, performance and development, employee relations, employee engagement, reward, promotions, and people insights.
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders in BE, providing support, advice, coaching, and constructive challenge to deliver the people elements of business plans.
Work closely with the Head of BE, who is Baringa's COO, as well as BE function leads across People, IT, Marketing, Consulting Operations, Legal, and Finance.
Use people insights, data, and feedback, including engagement, attrition, performance, ER, and workforce planning data, to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging priorities.
Support organisational change and transformation activity within BE, helping function leads navigate change and manage people impacts effectively.
Support leaders and people managers across organisational effectiveness, talent, engagement, performance, and development initiatives to drive positive business outcomes.
Champion the employee experience by ensuring people offerings are positioned to enable the future size and shape of the business to operate efficiently.
Collaborate with Reward, Recruitment, and L&D partners to ensure integrated delivery of people initiatives aligned with the People Plan.
Leverage advanced data, AI, and digital innovation to modernise people processes and enhance decision-making in financial services and corporate environments.
Contribute to the firm's global capabilities by sharing best practices across energy, resources, government, public sector, and technology sectors.
Promote a kind, curious culture where listening closely and caring deeply about client and colleague success drives continuous improvement.
Support the implementation of people policies, processes, and tools that underpin a Great Place to Work environment.
Ensure all people activities comply with relevant regulations and firm standards while enabling growth and innovation.

Be an experienced HR Business Partner with a proven track record in delivering people strategy in complex environments.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of employment law, reward, and performance management frameworks.
Show capability in managing sensitive employee relations issues with empathy and professionalism.
Bring experience in workforce planning, talent management, and succession development.
Possess excellent communication and influencing skills to engage senior stakeholders at all levels.
Show proficiency in using HRIS, ATS, and data analytics tools to drive insights and decisions.
Nice to have
Experience within the financial services, government, public sector, or technology sectors.
Background in transformation and change management within a large professional services environment.
Exposure to advanced data, AI, and digital innovation applied to people functions.
Understanding of global professional services networks and cross-sector collaboration.

This is a 15 month fixed-term contract based in London, United Kingdom.
