Government Practice Opportunity

Our Government practice is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our growing AI team, working across government departments and public sector organisations - with Health as one of our core areas of focus. We are looking for curious, proactive individuals who are passionate about practical, real-world AI adoption. You won't just talk about AI transformation in the abstract; you will help clients explore how AI can be applied to real operational challenges, support the development of AI-enabled services and processes, and contribute to meaningful change across the public sector. Working alongside experienced colleagues and client teams, you will help bridge the gap between what AI can do and what can be successfully implemented in complex public sector environments. Through analysis, stakeholder engagement, workshops and practical demonstrations, you will help make AI transformation tangible, accessible and valuable for our clients.

What You Will Be Doing

You will support clients in exploring how services, processes and ways of working could evolve in an AI-enabled environment, helping them move beyond traditional approaches and identify practical improvements. You will work with client teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve outcomes, efficiency and service delivery, helping assess feasibility, risks and potential value. You will use hands-on demonstrations, workshops and practical examples to help stakeholders understand AI capabilities and limitations, building confidence through tangible proof points rather than theory.

You will maintain awareness of developments across GenAI tools, AI-enabled services and public sector adoption trends, translating emerging capabilities into practical insights for clients and engagement teams. You will take ownership of high-quality deliverables including assessments, adoption roadmaps, operating model recommendations, governance frameworks, workshop outputs and transformation plans.

You will guide intake sessions to clarify scope, constraints, and success criteria for public sector AI work. You will shape an implementation blueprint during build phase, detailing data flows, model selection, and integration touchpoints. You will conduct structured reviews of outputs, validating alignment with policy, ethics, and operational reality before final approval. You will enable confident ship by supporting deployment planning, change readiness, and user adoption in government environments.

You will collaborate with partners and specialists to integrate AI capabilities, ensuring solutions function reliably across broader programs. You will hold current capability assessments, documenting skills gaps, tool maturity, and readiness factors for responsible adoption. You will maintain rigorous standards for data handling, privacy compliance, and model behavior within public sector constraints and expectations.
