This position serves as the primary financial partner for the Finance, People, Legal, Facilities, and Operations departments. You will manage the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and monthly business reviews while driving process improvements to support company growth. What you'll do
- Act as the main FP&A contact for G&A functional leaders to ensure alignment on financial strategy.
- Manage annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for headcount, operating expenses, and key performance indicators.
- Conduct monthly business reviews to analyze variances and guide strategic spend decisions with supporting rationale.
- Create and validate financial models for new investments, vendor contracts, and complex hiring plans to assess viability.
- Monitor headcount capacity in real time and identify potential risks related to resource allocation or compliance.
- Develop and track metrics regarding cost efficiency, such as spend-to-headcount ratios, to inform leadership discussions.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting across systems.
- Improve planning workflows and systems documentation to increase efficiency, reduce manual errors, and enhance transparency.
- Deliver financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support timely and informed decision-making.
- Partner with procurement and legal to evaluate vendor terms and model the financial impact of contract structures.
- Support the evaluation of new tools and technologies by building business cases that quantify expected efficiency gains.
- Lead scenario analysis for operational changes, helping stakeholders understand the financial implications of different approaches.
- Coordinate with HR to model compensation structures and analyze the financial impact of talent investments over time.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of G&A cost drivers to support long-term financial planning and forecasting accuracy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A within a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience that demonstrates relevant competency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build complex models and automate repetitive tasks.
- Practical experience with NetSuite or Anaplan for financial planning, reporting, or process management.
- Experience using AI tools to improve forecasting, reporting, or modeling processes in a professional setting.
- Direct experience supporting G&A functions such as HR, Legal, Facilities, or Operations with financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth setting while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic organizational context.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with distributed teams and support asynchronous communication practices.
- Commitment to maintaining data integrity and following established financial controls and procedures.
- Comfort with exploring and testing new technologies that can enhance financial planning and decision support.
- Understanding of basic employment law concepts as they relate to budgeting for headcount and compensation.
- Willingness to participate in on-call activities for financial reviews and urgent business analyses as needed.

- Base salary range is $120,000 to $140,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
