About the role
You will own the end-to-end sales cycle for large enterprise clients within the APAC region, focusing specifically on high-growth eCommerce brands and non-gaming application advertisers. You will act as the primary strategic advisor, translating the capabilities of the Axon platform into concrete growth narratives for each client portfolio. This role requires you to build and maintain executive-level relationships, ensuring that client objectives are aligned with AppLovin's business outcomes. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and validating product-market fit for our consumer-focused solutions in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, you will collaborate cross-functionally to provide critical market feedback that influences the evolution of our advertising solutions. You will also own the financial performance of your assigned territory, ensuring that revenue targets and profitability metrics are not just met but exceeded. Finally, you will mentor junior team members, elevating the entire business development function through knowledge sharing and best practice implementation.

What you'll do
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and prioritize high-potential segments within the APAC eCommerce and non-gaming app verticals.
Develop and maintain deep, consultative relationships with key decision-makers across strategic client organizations in the region.
Own the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and needs analysis through solution demonstration, negotiation, and final contract execution.
Create and present compelling business cases and ROI projections that clearly demonstrate the value of AppLovin's platform to C-level stakeholders.
Collaborate with AppLovin's product and engineering teams to gather insights and advocate for feature enhancements that address evolving client needs.
Analyze campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities and drive strategic adjustments that improve client outcomes.
Partner with finance and legal teams to ensure accurate forecasting, compliance, and smooth execution of all commercial agreements.
Represent AppLovin at industry conferences, trade shows, and high-level networking events to strengthen the brand presence.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent revenue generation and pipeline health.
Develop and execute account plans that outline specific growth strategies, key milestones, and resource allocation for major clients.
Work closely with customer success and implementation teams to ensure seamless onboarding and high client retention rates.
Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with complementary technology providers to expand our market reach.
Champion the adoption of new products and features within existing client accounts to maximize platform utilization.
Prepare detailed performance reports and insights for internal stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making at the executive level.
Continuously monitor competitor activity and market shifts to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
You possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
You have a proven track record of at least five years in business development or enterprise sales roles within the technology or advertising sectors.
You demonstrate a history of exceeding quota and delivering consistent, double-digit revenue growth in previous positions.
You have substantial experience selling to enterprise-level clients, managing complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders.
You are fluent in both English and Mandarin, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
You possess a deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including demand-side platforms, supply-side platforms, and key performance indicators.
You have a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives and senior leadership within target accounts.
You are highly proficient in using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, to manage complex pipelines and forecast accurately.
You are willing to commit to a permanent onsite work arrangement at our Shanghai office as required by the role.
