About the role
You will act as a trusted strategic advisor to a specific portfolio of dealership partners, guiding them through a consultative engagement model designed to enhance their overall performance. Your primary focus will be on building durable, long-term relationships that are grounded in trust and mutual success within the automotive finance and insurance landscape. You will be responsible for owning the complete lifecycle of each dealer relationship, from the initial onboarding phase through to renewal and expansion, ensuring continuity and resilience. By translating complex policy and program frameworks into clear, straightforward actions, you will help partners navigate operational challenges effectively. You will leverage data-driven insights to identify specific areas where operational accuracy and profitability can be improved for each unique dealer. This role requires a proactive mindset to identify risks and opportunities before they escalate, ensuring partners remain aligned with corporate objectives. You will serve as the main liaison between the internal support functions and the external dealer community to facilitate seamless operations. What you'll do
- Oversee the precise intake procedures for dealer onboarding to guarantee information accuracy and timeliness across the entire portfolio.
- Develop and implement sophisticated performance models aimed at uncovering opportunities for margin enhancement and retention improvement.
- Lead structured strategic reviews with partners to identify operational issues and agree upon focused corrective action plans.
- Coordinate the timely flow of shipments and implementation activities to uphold service commitments and reduce operational friction.
- Provide expert guidance to partner teams ensuring strict adherence to program regulations in finance and insurance operations.
- Map and coordinate collaboration touchpoints with internal support groups to maintain strategic alignment on shared goals.
- Analyze portfolio performance data regularly to identify trends and highlight the most critical areas requiring attention.
- Translate complex data findings into clear narratives for partners, using straightforward language and actionable recommendations.
- Drive the optimization of dealer performance by identifying best practices and facilitating their adoption across the network.
- Act as the primary contact for partners, managing their expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction with APCO Holdings services.
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to provide partners with insights that strengthen their competitive position.
- Ensure all operational workflows are documented and followed to mitigate risk and support consistent execution.
- Support the renewal process by demonstrating the tangible value delivered to each dealer partnership.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback and implementing process enhancements where possible.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and outcomes to support future strategic planning and decision-making.
Requirements
- Must possess three years of direct experience in dealer-focused roles within the automotive finance or insurance industry.
- Must demonstrate the ability to manage complex rule sets while remaining composed under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Must exhibit proficiency with dashboards, spreadsheets, and operational reports to inform sound business decisions.
- Must communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Must reside in or be eligible to work in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area for the duration of this position.
- Must have a proven capacity to build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with external partners.
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team to achieve shared objectives.
- Must adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements governing dealer partnerships.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills to address partner challenges with practical and timely solutions.
- Must be able to manage multiple dealer accounts simultaneously without compromising the quality of service.
