What you'll do
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of industrial projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure all parties are aligned on project goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Facilitate training and development for project team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, manage documentation, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Analyze project outcomes to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and bids for new projects, showcasing Anaergia's capabilities and innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the renewable energy or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience in the anaerobic digestion or waste-to-energy sectors.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards in the energy sector.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and practices.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in project settings.
