What you'll do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project specifications.
• Monitor project expenditures and financial performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish financial controls and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project control, financial analysis, or a similar role within the engineering or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in financial reporting.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) would be advantageous.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector or with sustainability-focused projects.
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
