What you'll do
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate project meetings, documenting discussions and action items to ensure clear communication among team members.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, manage resources, and maintain project documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for project execution.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost management, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Support the development of project proposals and bids, contributing to the growth and success of Anaergia's project portfolio.
- Engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning or management, preferably in the renewable energy or environmental sector.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles, including cost estimation and tracking.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards relevant to renewable energy projects is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Experience working in international project environments or with cross-cultural teams.
- Familiarity with sustainable energy technologies and practices, particularly in waste-to-energy processes.
- Additional language skills, particularly in Italian or other European languages, would be beneficial.
- Experience in risk management and quality assurance processes within project management.
