About the role
AMBOSS is seeking an experienced marketer to drive growth across Latin America. The LATAM Marketing Specialist will own the end-to-end development and execution of localized marketing initiatives that drive measurable growth across Spanish-speaking Latin America. This position requires you to act as the regional expert, translating global brand strategy into culturally resonant campaigns that speak directly to the nuances of each market. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure marketing efforts support overarching business objectives. The role demands a high level of ownership, where you proactively identify opportunities and drive them from concept to completion. You will leverage data and market feedback to iterate quickly and optimize performance over time. Success in this position means you can balance strategic thinking with meticulous execution under tight deadlines. Ultimately, you will be the key driver behind expanding AMBOSS's reach and impact in LATAM.
This role is based in Peru and requires full-time onsite engagement during standard business hours. Travel to other AMBOSS offices may be required occasionally. No visa sponsorship is provided for this position.
What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth research into local medical education pathways, exam systems, and healthcare professional behaviors to inform strategy.
- Translate global marketing assets and concepts into Spanish, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance for target audiences.
- Design and manage multichannel campaigns that utilize CRM, paid social, search, and organic social platforms popular in the region.
- Establish a rigorous testing framework to analyze campaign metrics and optimize user acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Serve as the central point of contact for regional stakeholders, aligning messaging and timelines with brand standards.
- Identify high-impact opportunities within existing markets and pilot new initiatives to validate demand at scale.
- Collaborate with product and CRM teams to ensure messaging remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with user journeys.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet aggressive deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Build dashboards and reports that communicate performance insights clearly to both local and global leadership teams.
- Partner with creative teams to develop region-specific content that drives engagement and trust among healthcare workers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of different channels to allocate budget efficiently and maximize return on investment.
- Act as an advocate for the user, incorporating feedback to refine messaging and improve the overall customer experience.
- Drive the planning and execution of localized events or webinars that support lead generation and thought leadership.
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to regional regulations and internal compliance guidelines.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably within SaaS or B2B sectors.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results in fast-paced settings.
- Show advanced proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to guide marketing decisions.
- Have experience working with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, email, and search.
- Display cultural sensitivity and adaptability when working across different LATAM markets.
Nice to have
- Experience with Portuguese language skills to support expansion into Brazil.
- Familiarity with medical or healthcare marketing landscapes in Latin America.
- Knowledge of regional education systems and certification processes for medical professionals.
