You will act as the primary technical voice within the sales process, ensuring that complex requirements are translated into clear, actionable product narratives. Success in this position requires a rare blend of deep financial services expertise and hands-on platform fluency. You will own the end-to-end technical narrative from discovery through implementation, directly influencing product direction and enterprise growth metrics.

What you'll do
Partner with the Client Development team and Product Director to architect and execute a consultative discovery framework that uncovers high-value enterprise workflows.
Lead technical demonstrations for prospective enterprise clients by configuring and navigating the Altruist platform in real-time to address specific prospect needs.
Translate complex advisor and client requirements into prioritized product enhancements and integration priorities for the engineering team.
Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new enterprise clients, coordinating integrations, data migration, and technical readiness validations.
Develop and maintain deep proficiency in the wealth management technology ecosystem to advise clients on optimal tech stack configurations and integration patterns.
Systematically document advisor pain points and feedback during every customer interaction to directly inform product roadmap decisions and feature prioritization.
Collaborate with implementation and professional services teams to standardize repeatable onboarding playbooks that reduce time-to-value.
Conduct competitive analysis focused on legacy custodian platforms to articulate clear differentiation and value propositions for enterprise RIAs.
Proactively identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts through value realization reviews and business health checks.
Champion platform reliability and best practices by working closely with engineering and product leadership to define and meet strict uptime and performance SLAs.
Travel as necessary to engage with enterprise prospects and partners during key phases of the sales and onboarding lifecycle.
Establish clear communication protocols and escalation paths with sales, product, and engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical commitments.
Leverage data and usage insights to forecast adoption risks and drive proactive interventions that safeguard long-term client retention.
Act as an internal subject matter expert, training sales and customer success teams on platform capabilities, limitations, and integration best practices.
Requirements
Bring a minimum of 10 years of cumulative experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or sales engineering roles within B2B software environments.
Possess deep, hands-on domain knowledge of the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) ecosystem, including regulatory considerations, custody models, and advisor technology adoption patterns.
Demonstrate a proven track record of selling into enterprise-level financial services organizations, managing complex stakeholder landscapes, and navigating lengthy procurement cycles.
Showcase a history of successfully delivering technical implementations for at least one major wealth management platform or core banking system.
Exhibit advanced proficiency in configuring and customizing SaaS platforms, APIs, and data integration patterns relevant to financial services operations.
Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill intricate technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Commit to regular travel in support of enterprise sales activities, including pre-sales engagements, product demos, and post-implementation reviews.
Nice to have
Experience working with legacy custodian ecosystems such as Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing and understanding their data and integration models.
Background in AI-driven financial advice platforms or experience implementing automation and analytics features for wealth professionals.
Prior involvement in product feedback loops where roadmap decisions are directly influenced by consultant insights and customer discovery.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in the United States and eligible for remote work.
The role requires travel as needed for customer engagements, product demonstrations, and industry events.

Compensation band is aligned with experience and includes base, equity, and comprehensive benefits package.
