About the role
You will take ownership of the end-to-end recruiting pipeline for our center-based ABA therapy program serving children from 18 months to 6 years. You will engage in full cycle recruitment and hiring of our most important asset, which is our growing team of Behavior Technicians who may or may not have prior ABA experience. You will review job descriptions to ensure they remain current and appealing for sourcing appropriate applicants. You will conduct first-round phone screeners and deliver timely feedback to the hiring team. You will manage communication inboxes and respond quickly to prospective staff inquiries. You will extend offers to qualified candidates and support their onboarding journey. You will attend hiring events such as career fairs or local conferences as needed. You will understand and convey the benefits of working as a Behavior Technician at Ally Behavior. You will assist with and help to improve the recruiting process and experience continuously. You will hit metrics related to company growth and hiring.

What you'll do
- Drive the end-to-end recruitment workflow from requisition to offer for Behavior Technician roles.
- Own the full cycle hiring process including resume screening, phone interviews, and extending offers.
- Update and optimize job descriptions to attract a diverse pipeline of applicants.
- Perform initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and cultural alignment.
- Manage candidate communication through inboxes and provide rapid responses to inquiries.
- Coordinate with hiring teams to schedule interviews and share actionable feedback.
- Extend offers to qualified candidates and guide them through acceptance procedures.
- Represent Ally Behavior at career fairs, local conferences, and community outreach events.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of ABA principles and explain the role's benefits to candidates.
- Track and report on key hiring metrics to support company growth objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine sourcing strategies and improve candidate quality.
- Proactively identify barriers in the recruitment process and suggest practical improvements.
- Support ad hoc recruiting projects that contribute to the department's strategic goals.
- Ensure all candidate interactions reflect the company's core values and commitment to excellence.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of applicants for current and future openings.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to monitor candidate status and deadlines efficiently.
- Engage with passive candidates to elevate the quality of the talent pool.
- Verify candidate documentation and readiness for background checks as required.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives that highlight Ally Behavior's culture and mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- ABA experience or experience in healthcare or clinician recruiting is a plus.
- Fantastic interpersonal skills and demonstrate excitement to speak with new people.
- Comfortability speaking with candidates over the phone.
- Diligence and thorough work when moving throughout the recruitment process.
- Keen attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Track record of being assertive, organized, and effective when interacting with prospective candidates.
- Ability to occasionally travel within Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.
- Must be able to pass MD/VA state and FBI background check in addition to a sex offender background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen if required by the client or company policy.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- High school diploma or equivalent required if you have not completed a Bachelor's Degree.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the McLean, Virginia center regularly.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with strong phone presence.
- Previous experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with basic ABA concepts is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding candidates and client information.

Practical notes
- This is a full-time position based at the Ally Behavior center in McLean, Virginia.
- Travel within the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. metropolitan area may be required occasionally.
