Staff UX Researcher, Payments Growth
Job description
About the role
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. You will own end-to-end research for global payments, shaping product strategy through a blend of behavioral insights and quantitative rigor. In this role, you will navigate ambiguity across diverse markets and regulatory environments while championing the voice of the user in every transaction. You will lead cross-functional workshops and synthesize findings into clear narratives that drive innovation and build trust in the platform. Your work will directly impact loyalty and business outcomes, ensuring that payments feel seamless and reliable whether a guest is booking in São Paulo or a host is getting paid in Seoul.
