Bamboohr is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Manager for our Inspection division, based in South Jakarta, South Jakarta. This full-time position is integral to ensuring that our inspection processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will play a crucial role in overseeing inspection activities, managing a team of inspectors, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage the inspection team, ensuring that all personnel are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
• Develop and implement inspection protocols and procedures to guarantee compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement in product quality and inspection processes.
• Conduct regular audits of inspection practices to ensure adherence to established guidelines and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting trends, issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding inspection-related inquiries and concerns, fostering strong relationships and trust.
• Coordinate with external regulatory bodies and certification agencies to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve inspection methodologies.
• Manage budgets and resources for the inspection department, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to provide insights on quality assurance and inspection-related matters.
• Drive initiatives aimed at reducing inspection cycle times while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical management role, preferably within the inspection or quality assurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of inspection methodologies, quality control processes, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and software, as well as data analysis tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality certifications is a plus.

Nice to have

• Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or similar.
• Experience in a specific industry sector relevant to Bamboohr's operations (e.g., manufacturing, construction).
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly in Bahasa Indonesia and English, are advantageous.
• Previous experience working in a multicultural environment.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and quality management systems.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from conception to completion.
