What you'll do

• Collect samples from designated sites, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare samples for analysis by following precise procedures, including labeling, packaging, and documentation.
• Conduct preliminary assessments of samples to identify any anomalies or issues that may affect the analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of all sampling activities, including locations, times, and conditions, to ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure that samples are delivered in a timely manner and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory or field sampling role, preferably within a related industry.
• Strong understanding of sampling techniques and preparation methods, with a focus on quality control.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to sampling and laboratory environments.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all sampling and documentation processes.
• Proficient in using standard laboratory equipment and tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and report findings.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
