What you'll do

• Oversee the entire sample preparation process, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards.
• Coordinate with geologists and analysts to determine the specific requirements for each sample batch, facilitating efficient workflow.
• Prepare geological samples for XRF analysis, including crushing, grinding, and homogenizing materials to achieve uniformity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in geology, chemistry, or a related field, with a focus on analytical techniques preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, specifically in sample preparation for XRF or similar analytical techniques.
• Strong understanding of geological materials and their properties, as well as familiarity with laboratory safety protocols.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
